Travel InformationGetting to Lyon By plane, train, bus or car: Lyon offers great national and international accessibility.
Located 25 km from the city centre, the St Exupery airport welcomes passengers from hundreds of destinations among which more than 50 international flights. Some low-cost airlines also operate direct flights between Lyon and several main European cities. From the St Exupery Airport, you can easily get to Lyon using the RhoneExpress (interurban express rail tram) connecting to 'La Part Dieu' – (one of the two main railway stations). Tickets are 14.70 € one way or 25.90 € return and can be bought in advance here: https://www.rhonexpress.fr/en/order-tickets/176 Note that there also are direct trains (TGV) from Paris CDG airport to Lyon Part Dieu.
Part-Dieu and Perrache are the two main train stations in the city, while a third is at Lyon’s Saint Exupéry airport. Thanks to the TGV (high speed train), you can reach to Lyon in record time from Paris (2 hours), Marseille (1h40), Lille (3 hours), Brussels (3h30), London (5 hours), etc.
Getting to the conference - Amphi de la MILC The public transport network of Lyon is clean and safe. It comprises 4 underground lines (Metro A-D), 5 tram lines (Tram T1-T5) and urban buses (over 100 lines). Ticket prices are 1.80 euros valid for 1 hour.
